About Chairman
 Sri D. B. Chandra Sekhar Rao, is the Secretary of DRK Educational Society that promoted DRK Institute of Science & Technology. With a humble beginning, he rose to the level of taking up contracts from Government and PSUs like BHEL. Mr Rao diversified into real estate and executed prestigious ventures. His interest in academics led to establish this institute.
Mission
In an age where technology and communication progresses hand in hand DRKIST aims to provide its students a platform to develop their skills, update their knowledge and exhibit their talents, so as to mould them into hardcore professionals. This institution deems that knowledge devoid of humanism is futile. Hence it attempts to instill in its students the values of discipline, integrity and peaceful co-existence. A rigorous formal training, tempered with the spirit of human welfare sums up the kind of education imparted here. Such an education besides promising a bright career to the students brings hope to the distraught world. In future any contribution made by them to the world of engineering will be marked by an orientation towards humanity. This is their forte. Given the present and the upcoming infrastructure, the academic milieu, committed faculty and a stern but dedicated management, this institute can be reckoned as the nursery for the budding engineers - the nation builders of tomorrow. |
