On getting all the 212 credits based on the total marks secured by the student, the student becomes eligible for the award of BTech degree and shall be placed in one of the following four classes:

First class with Distinction	70% & above	From the Aggregate marks secured for 212 Credits
First class	Below 70% but not less than 60%	From the Aggregate marks secured for 212 Credits.
Second class	below 60% but not less than 50%.	From the Aggregate marks secured for 212 Credits.
Pass class	Below 50% but not less than 40%	From the Aggregate marks secured for 212 Credits.

(The marks in internal evaluation and end examination shall be shown separately in the marks memorandum).
