The BTech degree course is of 4 Academic years duration (Full Time), the first year being under yearly pattern & the remaining 3 years under semester pattern.

Distribution & Weightage of Maths

	The performance of a student in each semester/l year shall be evaluated subject wise with a maximum of 100 marks for theory & 75 marks for practical subject. In addition, project shall be evaluated for 200 marks
	For theory subjects the distribution shall be 20 marks for internal evaluation and 80 marks for the end-examination
	For practical subjects there shall be a continuous evaluation during the semester for 25 sessional marks & 50 end-examination marks
	The Engineering Drawing Practice course wherever offered is to be treated as a practical course. Evaluation method adopted for practicals shall be followed here also
	Out of a total of 200 marks for project work, 40 marks shall be for internal evaluation & 160 marks for the end semester examination
	The internal marks are awarded on the average of past 4 tests out of 6 tests for 1 yearI5 tests for remaining semesters conducted online, each of 20 minutes duration
